This is one of the 6 examples of the 'ready to run' 0-6-0T locos produced by Brian Clarke of Saltford Models during the early 1980s. It is Based on the large Bagnall 0-6-0T 'Dennis' built for the Snailbeach & District Railway but reduced in size to match the more usual 009 loading gauge. Leek & Manifold 2-6-4T 2019H005 (L&M 0977 copy.jpg)
At the moment we don't know a great deal about this one, other than it is believed to be a built example of the Centre Models kit dating from the very early days of 009 Modelling (late 1960s / early 1970s). It also happens to be a very nice model of a very nice prototype (in my humble opinion)!

Stronachlachar Railway Baldwin 4-6-0T No. 6 2007H052 (DSC_8173 copy.jpg)
Built by David Mander and based on the ex-War Department Baldwin used on the Glyn Valley Tramway after its rebuild by Beyer Peacock. This loco was built in 1964 using one of the first N-gauge Arnold 0-6-0 chassis imported into the UK, and as Mr Mander said in his 1966 Model Railway News article detailing the build using the Arnold chassis meant that the Baldwin was finished far quicker than the usual 6-9 month building time of his earlier 009 locomotives due to the use of the Arnold chassis. © Andrew Burnham, used with permission
