Tanybwlch is modelled on the Ffestiniog Railway station of the same name, during any high season between the early 1990's to the present day.
Modellers licence has been used due to space limitations, therefore rivet counters will have a field day. The layout has been designed to allow current operating practice, and give an overall flavour of the Ffestiniog Railway rather than it being a scale model.
