The construction of white metal loco kits, plastic kits and etched brass kits are also covered. The chapter on scenic detailing is followed by photographs of six exhibition layouts that use many of the techniques discussed. Other chapters cover exhibiting your layout, how to obtain better running and the various fine scale standards. Also included are a number of diagrams of commercial chassis, lists of Locos and Stock, Manufacturers and Suppliers and Book List. (Please note that the diagrams of commercial chassis reflect those available in the UK whilst the Lists of Locos and Stock, Manufacturers and the Book List all concentrate on the UK scene.)
