Expo Narrow Gauge (Expo NG) - 29th October 2005

Another very successful event organised by the Greenwich Narrow Gauge Society.
Held at the White oaks Leisure Centre, Swanley, Kent.

P D Hancock's "Duncan" - a first public appearance and  photo opportunity  for over 50 years.  Superbly restored and owned by Rod Allcock. Another famous P D Hancock loco "Moira".  Rod Allcock has restored the engine and now sports coupling and piston rods. The 009 Society attended with a photo display, cabinet with mini-layout and a "modellers workshop" mounted by various members throughout the day.

John Thorne's "Scrubbs Lane" mini-layout has now doubled in size to include "The Maltings"  John is being assisted by members of the Surrey NG Modellers.

John Varley's "Ghylldale", one of the most photogenic layouts on the current exhibition circuit. 

"El Tortuga" by Don Sibley was first featured in the Continental Modeller over 20 years ago.  It looks as fresh as ever.  Don & Val, who live in Belgium, have exhibited with one of their layouts at every Expo NG.
