Once again the crowds
flocked to Sparsholt College (near Winchester) for
the Wessex Narrow Gauge Modellers' (WNGM) 'Narrow
Gauge South' and the Society's 2004 AGM. Some 20+ layouts were exhibited,
plus full trade support. The show was very well attended and the halls
seemed to be packed for most of the day. Here is a selection of
some of the superb layouts that that filled the 3
rooms. Photo's by Mick Thornton - WNGM. |

The Railcar Competition.
A feature of the AGM was the railcar, railbus and the
like competition, the only criterion being that
the model must have been converted from a railway coach,
road vehicle or anything that was not intended to be a
self-propelled rail vehicle. Click on the competition display case to see some of the
entries. |
